I've always liked Hummers.

I had an H2 poster on my wall as a kid and have always wanted one of the big brutes. Fuel economy be ( really ) damned.

They are the definition of American excess IMO.

Even though the H3 is the one to have in my book.

"Shit" interior and poor visibility be completely damned. If prices on these keep falling, one might be in my possession sooner rather than later. They're in the mid-sized SUV class that I love so much.

It's funny, the real Hummer, the one that served overseas, is my least favorite of the bunch.

I had hummer h2 cologne. I was obsessed with these as a kid. Same goes for Escalades and Yukons. I have always liked big SUVs, even if they are used for grocery getting. I did want to be a rap star when I was a child though for some reason...

Me too, I loved the H2 so much as a kid. I even was given a christmas tree ornament version as the yearly ornament my parents give me.

My cousin had an H2 at one point, I know a girl whose dad still does. The back seat is hilariously cramped for how big they are.

It was quicker than I had imagined it would be.

Apart from the interior, there is nothing really wrong with the H2. Other vehicles get terrible gas mileage and have showy styling.

The problem is, driving something like a Mercedes G Wagon in 2014 says "I don't care if you hate me or the car." Driving an H2 says "I want you to hate me and the car." I used to see quite a fair number of these running around. Now? I'm lucky if I see one every couple months. Right, wrong, or otherwise, there is no other vehicle at any price point that can touch the Hummer when it comes to screaming, "I'm an asshole." It's that image that sank them.

It's usually the people who have it on 25" wheels who are actually assholes. Most people who drive stock Hummers that I've met are actually really nice.

Oddly enough, the last time I saw an H1 it was pulling into the Six Flags parking lot. Even had the roof off.

I once got a ride on a yellow one just like the one on the poster. I was at the park, and my mother saw it passing by, she ran to tell the owner if she could give me a ride. I was all confused, but obviously got in, and enjoyed life for a couple of minutes. The place where the owner lived still had the Hummer for a few more years, so I got to see it when I passed by. They later had a white Cayenne, and they later left town.
